  • Printing smoothly with a matte finish printing effect
  • High Strength, High Rigidity, Good Toughness, Wear Resisting, Fitting to 3D print industrial pars;
  • Anneal at max 160℃
  • Compared with plain nylon it has lower shrink rate and distortion, high accuracy without warped edge
  • Good flame resistance, Flame-retardant level: UL94-V2
  • Use at least a stainless steel nozzle to print this material

Print Temp 240-260ºC
Hot bed 80-100ºC (required)
Surface Glue Stick, PEI, Kapton Tape and Hairspray is also known to work.

  • If you do not have air-tight containers for storing your filament, you can dry the spools just before use by running them through a Food Dehydrator. A few hours in this device will dry the filament significantly.
  • Nylon makes a good filament for cleaning your nozzle. You can use a technique called “cold pulling” where you allow the Nylon to bond to debris within the nozzle, and then after it partially cools, you pull the filament (and debris) out of the hotend.

Nylon (a.k.a. Polyamide) is a popular material in the plastics industry, known for its toughness and flexibility. Nylon filaments typically require extruder temperatures near 250 ºC. Many printers do not include a hotend that can safely reach 250ºC, so you might need to upgrade your hotend before you can use this product. One big challenge with Nylon filaments is that they are hygroscopic, which means they readily absorb moisture from their surroundings. Printing Nylon after it has absorbed moisture will lead to several print quality issues, thus filament storage becomes very important and requires special attention.

    The recommended print settings were a bit off but after some tuning this prints great. You need more than 270 degrees for good layer adhesion and the bed sitting at 110 (chamber temp sits at around 60 (Voron)). A G10 sheet is must and so is lots of drying..print from a dryer if you can and lower your volumetric flow for lower print speeds (30mm/s).
