The DropEffect XG hot end is the one of the most (if not the most) advanced hot ends on the market. Lightweight (40g), high temperature (300C), kinematic coupling (one handed nozzle changes!) and with an eXtreme temperature gradient means it’s also less prone to clogging.

The hotend consists of 100% high-quality metals such as copper, aluminium, titanium and a copper-nickel coating, which ensure optimal thermal performance on the one hand and the best printing results on the other! Despite its construction material, the hotend is extremely light: With its 40 g, it even allows smooth high-speed prints! The hotend heats up to 290 °C within 1 minute and is compatible with all common filaments such as PLA, PETG, ABS, PC and PA!Thanks to an efficient kinematic coupling, the heat transfer on the XG hotend is efficiently minimised and a nozzle change is made possible with just one hand. This unique hotend is intelligently designed so that there is a perfectly matched flow of tasks between the nozzle and the filament: while the nozzle melts the filament, the heatbreak ensures a steep temperature transition preventing clogging!
